Disney has released the first full trailer for The Mandalorian and Grogu, a feature film spinoff from the hit Star Wars series. The movie stars Pedro Pascal as Din Djarin and his adorable green companion Grogu, with production accelerated due to the 2023 Hollywood strikes delaying season 4 of the original series.

In addition to Pascal, the cast includes Sigourney Weaver as Ward, a veteran pilot leading the New Republic's Adelphi Rangers, and Jeremy Allen White as Rotta the Hutt. The trailer showcases lightsaber battles, robot fights, and exploding AT-ATs, while highlighting the deepening father-son dynamic between Mando and Grogu. The film will feature a new version of Mando's ship after the original was destroyed in season 2.

The movie promises plenty of action alongside heartwarming moments as Mando searches for "a Hutt" while protecting his young apprentice. Grogu's Force abilities continue to grow, though Mando worries about his long lifespan compared to his own. The Mandalorian and Grogu hits theaters on May 22, 2026, giving fans a theatrical adventure with their favorite bounty hunter and his green sidekick.
