Kia unveiled its 2027 EV3 and 2027 Seltos Hybrid at the New York auto show, directly addressing consumer demand for efficient small vehicles. The EV3 comes in four trims: Wind, Land, GT-Line, and GT. The Wind and Land use a larger 81.4 kWh battery for up to 320 miles range with front-wheel drive, while the GT-Line and GT add standard all-wheel drive via a second motor.

The GT offers more power at 288 hp, up from 261 hp for other AWD models. The infotainment system, identical to the EV9, features OTA updates and customizable themes including Disney, National Geographic, NBA, and FIFA World Cup. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard. Pricing starts around $35,000, with sales beginning late 2026. Kia's Seltos Hybrid, also launching late 2026, pairs a 1.6L turbocharged engine with an electric motor on the front axle, offering an optional eAxle for all-wheel drive. Both models feature advanced driver assists and themeable infotainment with standard CarPlay and Android Auto..
