Injury Report

Jonah Coleman was placed on injured reserve after sustaining an ankle injury, while Saquon Barkley plans to play "fearless" Monday night despite a stinger. Alec Pierce was officially placed on IR with a heel issue, and Aaron Jones Sr. has been cleared to start Sunday against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Nick Chubb returned to Cleveland to officially retire as a member of the Browns, and Nick Bosa will miss multiple weeks with a calf injury. Jayden Daniels will not undergo elbow surgery, and the Commanders have ruled out Nico Collins for the second straight game.

Transactions & Roster Moves

The Denver Broncos added some much-needed offensive line help by signing veteran OG Tomlinson off the Cowboys' practice squad, while the Green Bay Packers bolstered their front five. The New York Jets promoted veteran Sterling Shepard from the practice squad as Adonai Mitchell remains questionable, and Gabe Jacas has made impact plays over the first two weeks for the New England Patriots after being signed as a second-round pick.

Fantasy & Matchup Notes

Puka Nacua is doubtful for Week 4 as the Los Angeles Rams target his return, while Bears QB Caleb Williams is out for Monday night, opening the door for Mitch Bagent. Sam Darnold is back Sunday for the Seattle Seahawks despite being down two safeties, and the Houston Texans will be without Nico Collins again in their effort to avoid an 0-3 start.

League-Wide Notes

Brian Daboll returns to New York as the Minnesota Vikings face the Giants in a much-anticipated reunion, and Aaron Glenn and Dan Campbell will share a bond forever after growing up playing and then coaching in the NFL. The NFL has made additional field adjustments at Rio, with field director Nick Pappas saying there is no need to worry about the surface conditions.
