The industry’s exit drought is due to a pricing standoff between buyers and sellers, not a liquidity crunch. That’s according to Apollo Global Management co-president Scott Kleinman, who noted in a panel at IPEM Global in Paris on Wednesday that sponsors are turning to hybrid capital and take-privates to bridge the gap.
