CVC DIF, the infrastructure business of CVC, has appointed Chris Koski to the newly created role of chair of North America. Koski will be based in Toronto and work closely with the firm’s existing co-heads of North America, Kanan Joshi in New York and Vincent Liu in Toronto. In the role, Koski will work to strengthen corporate and institutional relationships and help advance strategic partnerships.

Koski previously served as global head of investment strategy at Morgan Stanley Infrastructure Partners. Before that, he was global head of infrastructure at ADIA and a key member of CPPIB’s infrastructure team from its inception. “His extensive experience across infrastructure investing, investment strategy and capital raising will be a valuable addition as we continue to build our presence and deepen our relationships across North America,” said Gijs Voskuyl, managing partner and head of CVC DIF.

CVC DIF established its North American business in 2012 and now has more than 35 professionals in Toronto and New York, managing more than 20 active portfolio investments in the region. The Amsterdam-headquartered firm has €25 billion of infrastructure assets under management across energy transition, transport, utilities and digitalization, with more than 260 people in 12 offices.
