Tom Kim broke a 1,001‑day drought to claim his fourth PGA Tour title at the Genesis Scottish Open, finishing 17 under after a final‑round 65. The Korean moved two strokes clear of Min Woo Lee, who posted a three‑under 67, and edged past co‑leaders Matt Fitzpatrick, Robert MacIntyre and Lee who were all a shot back after 54 holes.

MacIntyre finished tied‑third, four strokes behind Kim, alongside Fitzpatrick, Keita Nakajima and Johnny Keefer. Their positions secured Keefer a spot in The Open as one of the three leading non‑exempt players. Rory McIlroy posted a final‑round 64, matching his season low, to climb to a tie for seventh, but remained five strokes off the lead after a fog‑marred third round.

Defending champion Chris Gotterup and US Open winner Wyndham Clark slipped to tied‑11th and tied‑13th with one‑over 71s. The victory lifts Kim back inside the world top 50 and gives him his first win since the 2023 Shriners Children’s Open, positioning him as a contender heading into the final major of the season at Royal Birkdale.
