Sun Goddess surged from last to first to secure Aidan O’Brien's 18th win in the Keeneland Phoenix Stakes at the Curragh. The 5-4 favourite, ridden by Ryan Moore, showcased her talent by racing inside the final two furlongs and finishing a length and a quarter clear of Folsom Blues. O'Brien described the filly as "very special," noting her high cruising pace and excitement for the future.

In other action at the Curragh, Big Mojo bounced back to winning ways in the FBD Hotels And Resorts Phoenix Sprint Stakes. After struggling earlier this season at York and Royal Ascot, Mick Appleby's colt regained confidence with a commanding one-and-a-quarter-length victory over Bucanero Fuerte under Tom Marquand. Appleby noted the win was intended to rebuild the horse's confidence ahead of potential returns to Haydock or the Breeders' Cup.
