Southern Brave captain Sophie Molineux led her team to a thrilling eight-run victory over Welsh Fire Women in The Hundred. The Brave set a target of 126, with Laura Wolvaardt contributing an unbeaten 45 off 36 balls.

Welsh Fire fought back, with Georgia Voll scoring 52 from 39 deliveries and Freya Kemp adding 39. However, Molineux, supported by Lauren Bell, restricted the Fire to 118 runs for eight wickets, securing the win for Southern Brave.

The Hundred continues with a double-header at Lord's on Thursday, featuring London Spirit against Manchester Super Giants. Both women's and men's matches will be broadcast live on Sky Sports and YouTube.
