Southern Brave edged MI London by one run in a thrilling finish at the Utilita Bowl in Southampton. Jemimah Rodrigues (32 off 22), Maia Bouchier (31 off 22), and Laura Wolvaardt (35) guided the Brave to 126-7, though Hayley Matthews claimed 4-22 to restrict the hosts.

Matthews then scored 32 off 28, but a fifty stand between Danni Wyatt-Hodge (52* off 42) and captain Hollie Armitage (27) put MI London in control, needing eight off the last five balls. Lauren Bell produced a superb final over, leaving Wyatt-Hodge four to win off the last ball and denying the boundary to seal victory.

The win extends Southern Brave's unbeaten start to three matches, giving them a six-point lead over Manchester Super Giants at the top of the women's standings. MI London remain winless and rooted to the bottom.
