Jannik Sinner claimed his maiden Indian Wells title, defeating Daniil Medvedev 7-6 (8-6) 7-6 (7-4) in a hard-court masterclass. The Italian was imperious throughout the fortnight, not dropping a single set on his way to the championship. Sinner's victory completed the set of all the biggest hard-court titles, making him only the third player in history to win all six ATP Masters 1000 events.

The 24-year-old showcased elite statistics with 28 winners, 10 aces, and perfect net play. Sinner served superbly in scorching conditions, never facing a break point throughout the match. When Medvedev went 4-0 up in the second-set tie-break, Sinner reeled off seven consecutive points to clinch victory and cement his status as the most consistent performer on the men's tour.

Medvedev, who returned to the top 10 on Monday, brought the same aggressive precision that saw him stun world No. 1 Carlos Alcaraz in the semi-finals. The Russian acknowledged the Sinner-Alcaraz dominance, praising their level of play. Sinner also celebrated a special day for Italy, congratulating 19-year-old Formula One driver Kimi Antonelli on winning the Chinese Grand Prix.
