Moore's individual performance was dominant, earning him a haul of 47 points to claim the Silver Saddle. His first victory came aboard Asgard's Captain in the Shergar Cup Challenge, followed by a textbook ride on Archers Bay in the Shergar Cup Classic.

Team Hong Kong showed early strength with wins from Jerry Chau on Tuco Salamanca and Luke Ferraris on Dancing In Paris. However, the momentum shifted as Moore's victories propelled Great Britain and Ireland to the championship crown at Ascot.
