Manchester United are targeting Arsenal's Myles Lewis-Skelly as a potential left-back signing this summer, according to Sky Sports News. The 19-year-old England international, who signed a new five-year contract at Arsenal last summer, has fallen down the pecking order at the Emirates despite being one of their best academy graduates in recent seasons.

Lewis-Skelly has started just one Premier League game this season but has featured six times in the Champions League. England manager Thomas Tuchel recently told him he needs more game time to secure a place in the World Cup squad. United are also considering Newcastle's Lewis Hall and Eintracht Frankfurt's Nathaniel Brown for the position.

The move would represent 100 per cent profit for Arsenal on their balance sheet, having developed Lewis-Skelly through their youth ranks. United are prioritising left-back along with central midfield and left-wing, with players like Carlos Baleba and Elliot Anderson also being evaluated as they prepare for a significant summer recruitment drive.
