Bryan Mbeumo scored twice as Manchester United came from behind to beat Atletico Madrid 2-1 in Stockholm, lifting the Snapdragon Cup.

Arnau Ortiz gave Atletico an early lead with a cross-shot that crept in at Tom Heaton's far post inside five minutes. However, United dominated the rest of the first half and equalized in the second half when Mbeumo converted a penalty after Shea Lacey was tripped.

Mbeumo's second goal came after fine work by Jack Fletcher in winning the ball back on the right. Despite Morten Hjulmand hitting the post late on, United secured a deserved victory.

The performance showcased several promising signs for Michael Carrick, with academy players like Lacey impressing. Leny Yoro effectively shut down Ademola Lookman at right-back, while Mason Mount was named the best player on the pitch.
