Luke Littler has become a global icon since his debut run to the 2024 World Championship final as a 16‑year‑old. Target Darts has backed him since age 12, and in February 2024 he signed a multi‑year mega‑deal worth up to £20 million – the richest in the sport’s history.

Littler’s natural talent is matched by technical innovation. Target Darts worked with him, chairman Garry Plummer, designers and engineers to craft the G1 dart, later refined with a K‑Flex system and F‑Flex flight. These changes reduce deflection when throwing tight groups and improve balance, helping him set a record 111.53 average in the World Matchplay final and lift his tournament average to 111.04, surpassing Phil Taylor’s 106.31 record.

Beyond equipment, his team invests in sports psychology, nutrition, performance coaching and biomechanics to sharpen mindset and technique. “The stage is lonely up there, and darts is a gruelling sport,” Tattersall says, highlighting the importance of mental resilience.
