Liverpool has made an initial inquiry to Monaco regarding winger Maghnes Akliouche. The 24-year-old France international is also a target for Paris Saint-Germain, who have reportedly submitted offers up to £34m (€40m) that were not accepted.

Akliouche, who can play on the right wing or as an attacking midfielder, recorded six goals and six assists in 31 Ligue 1 appearances last season. Liverpool's new manager, Andoni Iraola, has stated the club "definitely need to sign a winger" to bolster options after Mohamed Salah's departure.

While Liverpool previously showed interest in RB Leipzig's Yan Diomande, an estimated £112m fee was deemed too high. The club is now exploring other options like Akliouche as they assess market opportunities and squad needs.
