Leicester City are seeking to sell the club for more than £200m, with Thai owners King Power preparing to exit after 16 years. An eight-page sales booklet produced by a leading US investment bank accompanies the offer. Citigroup values the club's physical assets at over £200m, including the 32,000-seat King Power Stadium and Seagrave training facility worth £121m, along with OH Leuven, the Belgian sister club. The brochure emphasizes Leicester's historic success—their 2016 Premier League title and FA Cup victory—while acknowledging their current struggle in League One following multiple relegations. Despite financial challenges, including £103.6m in bank loans and projected turnover exceeding £97m for 2026, the sale remains a priority. Chairman Khun Aiyawatt "Top" Srivaddhanaprabha faces scrutiny for the club's recent decline. This move follows reports first published by the Financial Times in July, extending an eight-month process since Srivaddhanaprabha took charge.

The transaction positions Leicester as one of only five clubs to have won all three major English trophies since 2000. The asset-rich but struggling Foxes aim to attract new investors to rebuild the franchise. Potential buyers will gain access to not only the football club but also significant infrastructure, including the dedicated training ground that supports the club's reputation for developing elite talent.
