Boxer Lee Reeves is in a "stable but critical condition" after suffering a knockout in his fight with Gary Cully at the 3Arena in Dublin on Saturday night. The fight for the BUI Celtic super-lightweight title ended in the 10th round when Reeves suffered a heavy knockout from a big left hand from his opponent.

Reeves was stretchered out of the ring and taken to the hospital for further checks after being treated with oxygen ringside. In a statement, Queensberry Promotions said, "Lee Reeves is still in hospital, in a critical but stable condition. We will know more in the coming days."

Queensberry founder Frank Warren expressed his support, stating that thoughts and prayers are with Lee and his family. Following the victory, Cully improved his record to 20-2, but his immediate thoughts were with his opponent, praising Reeves for showing he can operate at a higher level.
