Falkirk manager John McGlynn is targeting another top-six finish in the Scottish Premiership, despite a summer of significant transition. The Bairns face a challenging second season after losing 15 players, including key figures like Barney Stewart, who moved to West Brom.

McGlynn remains ambitious, aiming to replicate the point-scoring targets that secured their position last year. "If you can do it once, you can do it twice," he told Sky Sports News, though he acknowledged that the second season is typically more difficult due to the squad turnover.

Amidst the preparations, the 64-year-old has been linked to the vacant Scotland head coach role following Steve Clarke's resignation.
