Jenny Shin established a commanding five-shot lead at the ISPS HANDA Women's Scottish Open on Friday, navigating windy conditions at Dundonald Links. After sharing the overnight lead, Shin carded a five-under 67, following her opening 66, to reach 11 under par.

Esther Henseleit sits in second place at six under par after a strong round that included an eagle on the third hole. Meanwhile, other notable players struggled. Charley Hull, after an indifferent first round, managed to make the cut at five over par with a one-under 71. Georgia Hall, however, missed the cut.

Defending champion Lottie Woad showed improvement but was hampered by her putting, finishing the day at level par. World No 1 Nelly Korda also faced difficulties, ending the round at four over par after a second-round 76. Solheim Cup captain Anna Nordqvist also dropped down the leaderboard.
