Jack Draper has been granted a wild card for the National Bank Open in Montreal, marking his return from a left arm injury. The event will be broadcast live on Sky Sports starting August 3.

Draper, who has been hampered by injuries throughout 2026, missing all Grand Slam tournaments, receives one of the final wild cards alongside Canadians Alexis Galarneau and Liam Draxl. He recently withdrew from the DC Open in Washington. Coached by Sir Andy Murray, Draper's ranking has fallen to world No. 147, making US Open qualifying likely.

Having played only five tour events this year and last competing in Eastbourne, Draper expressed optimism about his recovery. He stated, "I feel physically really good." He previously stepped away from the tour a year ago due to the arm issue and has since dealt with knee and shoulder problems. His participation in the upcoming US Open remains uncertain.
