In Leicester’s Mattioli Arena, Deta Hedman snapped a six‑year drought to claim Event Eleven of the PDC Women’s Series, beating Finland’s Kirsi Viinikainen 5‑3. Hedman, 66, posted a 107 average and rallied from 3‑2 down, positioning herself inside the top five of the provisional World Matchplay qualifying list. The win lifts her to fifth in qualification.

Event Twelve saw Vicky Pruim secure her maiden title, dispatching Gemma Hayter 5‑2 in the final after a 5‑3 semi‑final win over Lauryn Salter. Pruim’s run included straight‑set victories over Grace Ferridge, Angela Kirkwood and a whitewash of Paige Pauling, lifting her to seventh in the series rankings and ahead of Viinikainen for the first World Matchplay spot.

Beau Greaves, two‑event winner, fell in the last eight to Rhian O’Sullivan and to Hayter, ending her streak of consecutive titles since April. Despite the setbacks, Greaves still tops the standings, keeping her on track for an automatic berth at the 2026/27 World Darts Championship and the 2026 Grand Slam. Greaves’ dominance ensures she remains the favourite for the title.
