Hatton's eligibility for the 2027 Ryder Cup now appears secure following this development. Jon Rahm, however, is notably absent from the list. The two-time major champion has stated he has 'no intention' of paying estimated £2.5million fines for similar LIV participation, potentially jeopardizing his Ryder Cup spot. The DP World Tour emphasized these releases are for 2026 only and not a precedent, with disciplinary action continuing against non-compliant members.
