Lewis Hamilton believes Mercedes drivers Kimi Antonelli and George Russell "should be a lot further ahead" of him in the Drivers' Championship. Antonelli leads Russell by 25 points, with Hamilton, driving for Ferrari, just seven points behind his former teammate.

Despite Mercedes often having the fastest car, reliability issues and other factors have kept Hamilton within striking distance as the season nears its halfway point. Ahead of the Belgian Grand Prix, Hamilton stated, "It's great that we're all close when really Mercedes have been the strongest team and they should be a lot further ahead."

While Antonelli and Russell have missed points in two races each, Hamilton has consistently finished in the top six, securing four podiums in his last five races, including a victory in Barcelona. Ferrari's reliability has also contributed to their strong position in the Constructors' Championship, trailing Mercedes by 78 points.

Hamilton emphasized the importance of reliability, stating, "Often in championships, that is the case." He expressed gratitude to the Ferrari team for building a fast and reliable car, vowing to "extract everything in every single lap, and every single point."
