Crystal Palace manager Oliver Glasner has denied disrespecting fans after they displayed a banner reading 'fans disrespected – Glasner finished' during Sunday's 1-0 win over Wolves. The protest came after Glasner told supporters to 'be humble' following criticism during Thursday's Conference League draw against Zrinjski Mostar.

The Selhurst Park crowd also held up a second banner saying 'opportunities missed - board inept' and taunted the manager with chants of 'one-nil to the humble boys' after Evann Guessand's 90th-minute winner. The victory came against the Premier League's bottom side, who had Ladislav Krejci sent off after Dean Henderson saved a Tolu Arokodare penalty.

Glasner, whose future was questioned after his pre-match comments, insisted he never meant to disrespect anyone and held clear-the-air talks with the club hierarchy. While many fans applauded him off the pitch, audible boos suggested his relationship with supporters remains strained. The Austrian manager said he would always speak his mind but apologized if anyone felt disrespected, emphasizing his respect for everyone regardless of position, skin color, or religion.
