Tyson Fury plans to invite Donald Trump to accompany him on his ringwalk to the long-awaited showdown with Anthony Joshua on December 11 in Cardiff. Fury and Joshua, both former heavyweight world champions, have been rivals for years and will finally box after lengthy negotiations concluded this week. Fury, who met Trump at the UFC Freedom 250 event at the White House in June, said he will "definitely make that offer" to his "old buddy, old pal" and see if Trump is available, though he acknowledged it is "probably unlikely" due to Trump's current situation as President of the United States.
Fury insists his clash with Joshua is merely preparation for his true priority: a trilogy fight against Oleksandr Usyk, to whom he has lost twice already. He stated, "I don't have any intention of retiring after Joshua. I'm using this bum as a warm-up for Usyk." Fury added that he feels fantastic at 38 years young and is match fit, having done rounds with Arslanbek Makhmudov and Mariusz Wach ahead of the Joshua fight.
