Tyson Fury's manager Spencer Brown confirmed the Anthony Joshua fight is "100 per cent happening" as Cardiff emerges as a potential venue. The long-awaited British blockbuster has faced negotiation delays over location, with Joshua's team insisting the event take place in the UK. Brown expressed confidence the fight will happen on home soil, potentially in December.

He stated three venues remain under consideration, including Cardiff and Wembley. Brown added that November and December are both in play, favoring December for the holidays. He emphasized everyone is still in negotiations, with Eddie Hearn and Frank Warren onboard, but the final say rests with Turki Al-Sheikh, Netflix, and SELA.

A Welsh Rugby Union spokesperson previously told Sky Sports they would be delighted to host the fight at their stadium, citing its rich boxing history, closable roof, and unique city-centre location. The fight represents a significant British boxing bonanza that fans have hoped for taking place in Britain.
