Tyson Fury has dramatically reduced the odds of his December 11th all-British heavyweight clash with Anthony Joshua going ahead. Speaking on his YouTube channel Furocity, Fury claimed the chances of the fight materializing stand at just one per cent. He stated that if one party wants to fight and the other does not, the bout cannot happen. Fury claimed he had initially agreed to fight at Croke Park in Ireland but suggested the deal is now in jeopardy.

The comments follow confirmation that the fight was set for Cardiff's Principality Stadium, promoted by Turki Alalshikh and Dana White. However, Eddie Hearn, Joshua's promoter, previously claimed the American promoter cannot be involved. White expressed uncertainty about the fight's future, stating the supposed helper has been hurting the process. Fury also claimed he signed a contract for the Ireland venue, suggesting sticking to that deal would have prevented the fight. He vowed to do whatever it takes to make the super fight happen.

The high-stakes undisputed heavyweight showdown remains in doubt as negotiations continue, with Fury questioning why the fight has never materialized despite his long history in the sport.
