Further proceedings target several players and coach Roberto Ayala for alleged "assault" and "unsporting behaviour" following angry scenes after their World Cup final loss to Spain. Notably, Leonardo Paredes and Spanish midfielder Gavi face separate actions for unsporting conduct. FIFA is investigating these incidents, which also include allegations of racist abuse, late kick-offs, protocol failures, and object throwing.

Kaveh Solhekol highlighted the Falklands banner incident, emphasizing that political statements are against FIFA's laws. He suggested the banner might have reappeared had Argentina won the final. The proceedings come as FIFA faces scrutiny for other controversial matters.
