England secured a commanding 94-32 victory over Tonga in a crucial Pool A match at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, significantly boosting their chances of reaching the semi-finals.

This dominant performance also saw England set a new team record for goals scored at the Games, with 94 goals, surpassing their previous best of 89 set in 2002. England established control early, leading 27-8 by the end of the first quarter.
