Negotiations for Chris Eubank Jr. to fight in Nigeria this December are progressing well, according to Ezekiel Adamu, founder of Balmoral Promotions. Eubank Jr. visited Nigeria in June following his loss to Conor Benn. Adamu expressed a desire to bring other British boxers like Anthony Joshua and Moses Itauma to Nigeria, but Eubank Jr. is considered the most realistic short-term target.

Adamu hosted Eubank Jr. in Nigeria last month, where the boxer received a significant reception. While Eubank Jr. will not be on the upcoming card featuring Taiwo Agbaje and Godday Appah, Adamu is focused on securing him for a December bout. The promoter stated that bringing Eubank Jr. to Nigeria was an emotional experience and that negotiations are "coming along nicely." They have been working to secure government support and sponsors for the event.

Previously, Eubank Jr. declared himself a "free agent," though promoter Ben Shalom claims he is under a long-term contract with Boxxer. Adamu has also held discussions with Eddie Hearn regarding Anthony Joshua and has expressed interest in future fights involving Deontay Wilder, Fabio Wardley, and Daniel Dubois, aiming to bring major boxing events to Africa.
