Jamie Carragher believes Liverpool should prioritize signing a replacement for Mohamed Salah on the right wing rather than pursuing Paris Saint-Germain winger Bradley Barcola. Carragher notes that Liverpool already has multiple left-wing options, including Cody Gakpo, Rio Ngumoha, and Victor Muñoz.

"He's a great player, there's no doubt about that - I'd love to get Barcola at Liverpool," Carragher told Sky Sports News. "But he's a left winger for me. Liverpool's big thing that stands out like a sore thumb right now is replacing Mo Salah, a right winger."

Carragher also expressed concern that signing Barcola, who is reportedly valued at £128.5m, could hinder the development of young winger Rio Ngumoha. He questioned the club's transfer strategy, especially after they previously stated they did not want to block Ngumoha's path. However, Carragher would be delighted if Liverpool signed Barcola and a right winger, provided some current players move on.
