The Atlanta Falcons have agreed to a three-year contract extension with Bijan Robinson, making him the highest-paid running back in NFL history. The deal, running through the 2030 season, is reportedly worth up to $75 million, with a record $51 million guaranteed for a running back.

Even without achieving all incentives, Robinson's base three-year deal of $66.75 million will give him the highest annual salary for an NFL running back, surpassing Saquon Barkley's previous mark. Robinson expressed his gratitude on social media, stating, "God this is for you! Blessings. Love this team and this city!"

This extension continues the Falcons' strategy of securing their offensive core, following recent deals for Matthew Bergeron, Drake London, and Kyle Pitts. Robinson, who led the NFL with 2,298 yards from scrimmage last season, had been a spectator at training camp as he sought a new contract. He was ranked the league's top running back in a pre-season poll.
