Amanda Serrano will defend her WBA and WBO featherweight world titles against Lucrecia Manzur in California on August 21. This landmark fight, promoted by MVP, marks the first-ever unified women's world championship contested over 12 two-minute rounds and will be broadcast live on TikTok.

Serrano, who recently secured her 32nd professional KO, aims to break the all-time women's knockout record. The event at Pechanga Resort Casino in Temecula will be the first championship boxing event streamed live on TikTok. "Women's boxing deserves to be seen by as many people around the world as possible, and this partnership gives us the chance to introduce our sport to a massive global audience in a completely new way," said Serrano.

Manzur, the WBO's No 2 contender with a 14-4 record, expressed her long-held desire for this opportunity against Serrano. The undercard features Jahmal Harvey and Jully Poca. MVP co-founders Jake Paul and Nakisa Bidarian highlighted the partnership with TikTok as a move to grow boxing's audience and make championship fights more accessible, particularly to younger demographics, solidifying Serrano's status as 'The MAFFE' (Most Accomplished Female Fighter Ever).
