Aidan O'Brien is tipping Albert Einstein as his leading contender for the 2000 Guineas after the colt's impressive juvenile campaign. The unbeaten two-year-old, who won both his starts, has been sidelined by injury since missing Royal Ascot last year. Despite training several other Group-winning juveniles, O'Brien remains convinced Albert Einstein is in a class of his own.

O'Brien admits the main question mark surrounds the colt's stamina, with the trainer unsure if he can stay the mile distance. The Ballydoyle handler revealed Albert Einstein is part of a three-horse Guineas assault alongside Puerto Rico and Gstaad, with plans to target the English, Irish and French versions of the classic. Ground conditions may determine which races they ultimately target.

Described as 'big, powerful and very rapid', Albert Einstein impressed O'Brien from the start of his three-year-old career.
