Alyssa Thompson scored in the 82nd minute to lift the United States to a 1-0 victory over Colombia, securing the SheBelieves Cup title. The Chelsea forward's decisive strike broke a scoreless stalemate and earned her tournament MVP honors. It was the Americans' eighth shutout in a row, extending their defensive dominance.

Thompson finished a cross from Jaedyn Shaw with a precise shot into the upper corner, leaving Colombia goalkeeper Katherine Tapia with no chance. The goal came after U.S. defender Naomi Girma exited with calf tightness in the second half. Earlier, Canada defeated Argentina 3-2 on penalties after a scoreless draw, finishing second in the four-team tournament.

The victory marked the U.S. team's eighth SheBelieves Cup championship in the tournament's 11-year history. The Americans improved to 12-0-2 all-time against Colombia, with their only previous goals conceded coming in a 2016 Olympic group stage draw. Before kickoff, the team honored retired midfielder Tobin Heath, who made 181 appearances and won two Women's World Cups.
