Despite speculation about a potential England return under new manager Thomas Tuchel, Sterling confirmed he has not yet spoken with the national team boss, stating his focus remains on playing regular football.

The former Manchester City star acknowledged he's not yet match-fit for a full 90 minutes but expressed satisfaction with the winning start. Feyenoord manager Robin van Persie had previously noted Sterling's exceptional quality while managing expectations about his immediate playing time.
