The injury occurred seven minutes into the second half as Pulisic attempted a shot, striking the leg of Belgium's Youri Tielemans.

Pulisic tried to play through the pain but was substituted in the 59th minute. This latest setback adds to a tournament where he also battled a calf injury sustained in training.
