Christian Pulisic scored his third goal in three Serie A starts as AC Milan secured a 2-1 victory away at Genoa on Sunday. Alphadjo Cissè opened the scoring before Pulisic doubled the lead in the first half. Mikael Egill Ellertsson scored a late consolation for Genoa, who drop to 13th place.
Milan, under Ruben Amorim, move up to fourth. The win follows a mixed run of form, including a Europa League defeat to Ferencvaros and a loss to Bologna, interspersed with a win over Inter Milan. Amorim emphasized the need for consistency and focus, stating the team must avoid switching off in European matches.
Milan hope to resolve their injury crisis during the international break.
