Christian Pulisic scored inside four minutes and Diego Moreira contributed a goal and two assists as AC Milan defeated Inter Milan 3-1 in the Derby della Madonnina at San Siro on Oct 31, 2026. The victory snapped Inter's nine-match unbeaten run and extended Milan's unbeaten derby streak to five matches. Moreira's cross set up Pulisic for the opener, and his corner later assisted Adrien Rabiot for the second goal.
Alessandro Bastoni pulled one back for Inter in the 22nd minute, but Moreira restored the two-goal lead in the 43rd minute with a free-kick in stoppage time. The win moved Milan to the top of the Serie A table, overtaking Lazio. Mike Maignan made several crucial saves to preserve the lead, while Strahinja Pavlovic's defensive tackle helped secure the victory.
Inter pressed for a comeback but were denied by VAR, which overturned a potential penalty for handball against Mario Gila.
