Messi's two goals were his first of the 2025 season, bringing his MLS tally to 52 goals in 55 regular-season matches.

Marco Pašalić and Martín Ojeda had given Orlando City a 2-0 lead in the first half, but Mateo Silvetti's goal four minutes into the second half ignited Miami's comeback.
