Man United’s 25‑man travelling squad for the pre‑season friendly in Helsinki includes Andrey Santos, the 22‑year‑old Brazilian who joined from Chelsea in a deal that could be worth £50m. Santos has trained at Carrington and is among a mix of youth and experience, with new midfielder Youri Tielemans still absent after the World Cup. The squad also features first‑team regulars such as Harry Amass, Shea Lacey, and the likes of Harry Maguire, Bryan Mbeumo, and Joshua Zirkzee.

Benjamin Sesko was not included as he continues to recover from a shin injury that kept him out of the last three matches last season. His absence may give a chance to young forwards Chidi Obi and Ethan Wheatley, though JJ Gabriel is also omitted. Goalkeeper Karl Darlow Mey, who joined this week on a free from Leeds, is not travelling, with Tom Heaton, Radek Vitek, and Dermot Mee in the squad.

Wrexham, headed to the United States next week for friendlies against Leeds, Liverpool, and Sunderland, travelled to Finland without Josh Windass and Max Cleworth. Manager Phil Parkinson said the team is "where we need to be in terms of fitness" despite a few lingering niggles.

The match offers a chance for the squad to gel before the 2026‑27 season kicks off.
