Costa Rican goalkeeper Keylor Navas, a three-time World Cup participant, and teen phenom Gilberto Mora headline the Liga MX squad set to face MLS stars in the All-Star Game on July 29 in Chicago. Liga MX announced 26 players, with two additional selections pending from Mexican Football Federation Commissioner Mikel Arriola.

The match will take place at Charlotte, North Carolina's Bank of America Stadium. The squad, managed by Antonio Mohamed, features notable players like defender Willer Ditta and Mexicans Israel Reyes, Jesús Gallardo, Érik Lira, Brian Gutiérrez, Mora, and Armando González. Fourteen of the initial 26 were chosen via Liga MX's Balon de Oro awards, with the remainder selected by Mohamed and Arriola.

Six players from the initial 26 represented Mexico at the recent World Cup. This encounter marks the fifth meeting between Liga MX and MLS in the All-Star Game, with MLS holding three wins from the previous four. MLS recently announced its squad, which will be led by global superstar Lionel Messi.
