Gianni Infantino has convened an emergency FIFA staff meeting in Rabat, Morocco, as pressure mounts over his controversial *FFE* plan. The meeting will include secretary‑general Mattias Grafstrom and the FIFA management board, whose members include Daniel 가져, Emilio Garcia Silvero, Elkhan Mammadov, Kimberly Morris, Bryan Swanson and David Farrelly.

Former Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger issued a statement on Tuesday saying he was not involved in the plan to sell 20% of the *FFE* to private investors, but he welcomed the decision to abandon the project after it faced rejection from UEFA, CONCACAF and the AFC.

UEFA threatened a boycott of FIFA competitions if the plan persisted, and several member associations have withdrawn confidence in Infantino. The council is seeking a majority of 19 to hold him accountable over the *FFE* plans and the Folarin Balogun case, with a potential governance boycott looming if no majority is achieved.

In related developments, Infantino’s senior adviser Carlos Cordeiro resigned, and FIFA COO Kevin Lamour criticised staff for being deceived by Infantino’s decisions.

The meeting aims to reassure staff that they will be protected amid the current turmoil.
