EA Sports has revealed its FC 26 Team of the Year, crowning the top performers from 2025 after a global fan vote. Ousmane Dembélé and Aitana Bonmatí, both recent Ballon d'Or winners, headline their respective men's and women's squads, which feature significant roster turnover from the previous year's selections.

For the first time, a captain was named for each team: Kylian Mbappé leads the men's side after a prolific season with Real Madrid, while Chelsea's Lucy Bronze captains the women's XI. The new squads include standout additions like Manchester City's Gianluigi Donnarumma and Barcelona's Pedri, reflecting the best individual campaigns of the calendar year.

EA will also award a special card to the 12th player and other honorable mentions later this month. These virtual squads, featuring in-game boosts, celebrate elite performances and will shape the meta for players in the popular football simulation, driving engagement and card trading within the EA FC ecosystem.
