Arsenal has confirmed the transfer of winger Leandro Trossard to Besiktas for a fee of £17m. Trossard has been granted permission to travel to Istanbul for his medical, with Besiktas announcing his arrival at Ataturk Airport.

The deal is structured as an initial £15.3m with an additional £1.7m in add-ons. Trossard departs the Premier League champions after three and a half years, during which he played 174 times and scored 36 goals. He was a key player in Arsenal's title-winning campaign last season, contributing eight goals and 11 assists in 50 appearances.
