The family of renowned venture capitalist Vinod Khosla is poised to become NFL owners, having agreed to purchase the Seattle Seahawks for $9.6 billion. Pending NFL owners' approval, Neeru Khosla will serve as the controlling owner, with their son, Neal, expected to hold a significant leadership role.

Vinod Khosla, a prominent figure in Silicon Valley, is known for early investments in companies like Google and OpenAI. His venture fund, Khosla Ventures, has backed numerous disruptive technology firms. He co-founded Sun Microsystems in 1982 and has since established himself as a leading investor in AI and green technology.

Neeru Khosla, a former molecular biologist, now focuses her philanthropy on education, co-founding the CK-12 Foundation. Neal Khosla is the CEO of Curai Health. The family's acquisition of the Seahawks will require them to divest their existing investment in the 49ers.
