After receiving a White House invitation from Trump following their victory, the team traveled from Miami to Washington on Monday night. Videos and photos of their visit circulated on social media, showing players posing for photos on the South Portico and briefly visiting the press office to show off their medals. Trump told the players, "I recognize every one of you. I know every one of you," as they entered his redecorated Oval Office, which features gold accents matching their Olympic medals.
