During an appearance on The Pat McAfee Show, Kelce said Swift's passion for her music career and continued success motivated him to keep playing.

Kelce, who turns 37 this year, signed a one-year contract worth $12 million with the Chiefs, potentially reaching $15 million in incentives. The deal came after he led the team in targets, receptions, yards, and touchdowns last season at age 36. Despite interest from other teams offering potentially higher pay, Kelce chose to stay with Kansas City.

Beyond Swift's influence, Kelce cited his desire to play alongside quarterback Patrick Mahomes, coach Andy Reid, and defensive star Chris Jones as key factors. He also expressed excitement about offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy's return to the team.
