Cam Skattebo was frustrated the New York Giants entered their matchup against the Arizona Cardinals as 2.5-point underdogs at home. His team rallied from a 14-3 first-quarter deficit to defeat the Cardinals 36-24 on Sunday at MetLife Stadium, improving to 3-0 at home and taking first place in the NFC East. 'It's dumb. It's dumb to be underdogs at home, especially when you're a good football team,' Skattebo said.
The victory snapped a 15-game underdog streak for the Cardinals and a 25-game underdog streak for quarterback Jacoby Brissett. Jameis Winston threw three touchdown passes for the Giants, and Deonte Banks returned an interception 98 yards for a game-sealing score. The Giants, playing without injured quarterbacks Jaxson Dart and Brian Burns, next face the Washington Commanders on the road.
