The NFL awarded Baltimore, Philadelphia, and Pittsburgh each four compensatory picks for the 2026 draft, the most of any team. The compensatory picks, ranging from the third to seventh rounds, are determined by a formula based on free agent losses, signings, and postseason honors. Minnesota received a third-round pick for losing Super Bowl-winning quarterback Sam Darnold to Seattle.

Detroit earned a third-round selection for hiring Aaron Glenn as head coach by the New York Jets, which was subsequently traded to Jacksonville. Philadelphia gained picks in the fourth, fifth, and sixth rounds, while Pittsburgh received an additional fourth-round pick and two sixth-rounders. Baltimore secured two picks each in the fifth and seventh rounds.

Since the compensatory pick program began in 1994, the Ravens have received a league-high 64 such selections. The San Francisco 49ers earned three fourth-round picks, while Dallas, Denver, Indianapolis, Las Vegas, the Los Angeles Rams, and the Jets each received two compensatory selections. These additional draft assets provide teams with valuable opportunities to strengthen their rosters for the upcoming season.
